Peseitse hall: terms of use

The hall and the property’s yard are covered by continuously recording CCTV, which can also be viewed remotely in real time, 24 hours a day. Recordings are retained for approximately 45 days and are then automatically overwritten. The customer is aware of and accepts this. The purpose of CCTV is customer safety and the appropriate use of the premises. The lessor has the right to use the recordings.

1. Description of the Peseitse.fi service

a. The customer rents the premises for washing the exterior and interior of vehicles or other items that fit inside, such as caravans, trailers and motorcycles. Minor maintenance, repair and part replacement using hand tools is permitted. Welding and painting are not permitted. Washing particularly dirty machinery or vehicles, or washing off large amounts of oil, grease or chemicals, is not allowed.

b. The customer books and pays for time units in advance online at peseitse.fi. One time unit is one hour. The customer may book the number of available time units they need. Each time unit permits the activities described in the service description for one vehicle or item. For clarity, two or more vehicles must not be brought into the hall during a single one-hour time unit. For example, a customer who has booked and paid for three hours may wash three vehicles.

c. The booking entitles the customer to enter the premises at the start of the booked hour. The customer must allow enough time to clean up and remove the vehicle before the end of their last booked hour. Do not underestimate the time needed: it is better to book and pay for one additional hour than to be five minutes short.

d. Basic use includes reasonable water consumption, vacuuming and drying with the equipment provided. Use of the pressure washer is always at the customer’s own risk. The customer must understand the damage that high-pressure water may cause if directed at vulnerable parts of the vehicle or item being washed.

e. Drying the vehicle with the squeegees, towels or blowers provided is the customer’s responsibility. The customer must understand the potential surface damage if the drying tool is dirty, the surface is dirty or the tool is used incorrectly.

f. Customers may use their own washing, polishing and drying equipment and products. The customer alone is responsible for their condition and suitability for the item being treated.

g. On arrival, briefly inspect the cleanliness of the premises and whether the equipment works. Report any deficiencies by email to info@teeitsehallit.fi or by telephone on 040 501 8086. Use of the premises is subject to force majeure conditions. The rental includes at least cold water and a warm indoor space. All other equipment or services described on websites, in brochures or in advertising are available according to the situation at the time. The maximum compensation payable to the customer is the rent paid. Indirect expenses, such as travel costs, are not covered. If water, electricity or a similar supply is interrupted during washing or other treatment, the service provider’s maximum liability is limited to the rent paid.

h. Joint use of the Korjaaitse.fi and Peseitse.fi halls is permitted. Make sure both halls are available at the same time when you need the full-length hall space. Book the time in each hall’s own calendar and pay for both bookings. You will receive a separate access code for each hall. The folding partition door opens from the Korjaaitse.fi side. Open the door fully and secure it against the wall so that it cannot come into contact with a vehicle positioned between the halls. When leaving, close the folding door from the Korjaaitse.fi side.

1. Description of the Korjaaitse.fi service

a. The customer rents the premises for self-service maintenance and repair of vehicles or other items that fit inside, such as caravans, trailers and motorcycles. Welding, sandblasting and painting with a high-pressure spray gun are not permitted. Small touch-up painting jobs using aerosol cans, underbody coating and rust protection are permitted. Protect the surroundings, especially the lift, floor and walls. Washing or removing large amounts of oil, grease or chemicals from particularly dirty machinery or vehicles is not allowed. When using an angle grinder, make sure the space behind the direction of the sparks is clear. Never direct sparks towards the overhead door, walls or windows.

b. The customer books and pays for time units in advance online at korjaaitse.fi. One time unit is one hour. The customer may book the number of available time units they need. The customer must allow enough time to clean up and remove the vehicle before the end of their last booked hour. Do not underestimate the time needed: it is better to book and pay for one additional hour than to be five minutes short.

d. Basic use includes the vehicle lift, compressed air and the machines and equipment provided. Use of the machines, equipment, tools and supplies is always at the customer’s own risk. The customer must understand the potential damage to their property when using tools and materials belonging to someone else. Using tools and supplies other than one’s own does not give rise to a right to complain or claim compensation for direct or indirect damage. Using your own tools and materials is therefore the clearest approach.

e. Washing the exterior of a vehicle in the hall is not permitted, to protect electrical equipment, other machinery and supplies from getting wet. Interior cleaning and detailing with your own supplies is permitted. If you need to wash the exterior, book and pay for separate time in the Peseitse.fi hall.

g. Always follow the vehicle lift’s operating instructions without deviation. The maximum lifting weight is 3,000 kg. Check the weight of your vehicle, including fluids and any items carried in it. Take care when using compressed air. Firmly connect and disconnect pneumatic tools from the air hose, as a loose connection or handling may cause the free part of the hose to whip violently.
